Besides being the management agency for the formations Roots United and Crianzas, MS Moods Productions offers a series of music compositional and arranging works, ranging from Jazz, Big Band, Latin, Caribbean, Pop, and World to Modern and Contemporary music, produced for many different instrument line-ups.
Our works can be described as follows:
- Compositions: our specialization is found in the genres of Jazz, Big Band, Latin american, Caribbean, Latin jazz and Contemporary music. Compositions have also been made out of image, poems, lyrics or other text, for film and theater productions as well as for classical (brass/string) ensembles.
- Arrangements: these can be made out of existing pieces which must be provided in audio (CD/MD/Mp3) or score (written) format. The style or character of an arrangement can be left to the arranger or it can be faithful to an specific genre, existing band or tradition. Arrangements can be written for countless instrument line-ups.
- Orchestrations: can be made for larger line-ups such as: Big Band, Orchestra and extended ensembles. These are made out of existing works originally produced for smaller line-ups.
- Adaptations: can be made out of existing works, for clients wishing to adapt a piece or an arrangement to another range spectrum (key), or to another line-up.
- Reductions: can be done out of existing works, originally produced for larger line-ups. A reduction will provide the possibility to perform these works with a smaller (reduced) line-up.
- Transcribtions: can be made out of existing works, which must be provided on audio (CD/MD/Mp3) format. We can supply a full Score, as well as the separated parts produced and edited on computerbased music notation software and printed on 120gram-A4 format paper.
All the works mentioned are delivered in Score format. If desired, separate parts (for each instrument) can be supplied. In certain cases an audio demonstration of the work can be provided on request. Prices are determined by the combination of the length, the line-up, the total amount of work, and eventually the combination of different types of works.
